What is time? And really, how valuable is time to you? Damian and I tend to have this conversation a lot. We talk about time management and all of the things we’d like to accomplish with our time. One of the things we’ve notice that is a huge time sinker is the Internet. We spend a lot more time online than we feel we should. We then become upset when our time is spent and we haven’t accomplished half of the things we’d like to. It’s turned into somewhat a vicious cycle we’d like to get a control of.
I personally love the Internet. I’m a fan of technology and have all kinds of gadgets. I understand that the Internet is a wonderful tool. It full of so much information. It can be used to socialize, entertain, and to connect with all kids of individuals.Yet, it still shouldn’t take over your life. There should be other things you’re interested in. I am. I want to be able to do all these things. I want to be able to manage my time efficiently.
Did you know?
Your time is precious. I’ve always believed in doing the things that make you happy. There’s nothing wrong with spending your time online. However, there should be more to you than scrolling Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, or Reddit. There is so much out there to discover and learn if you only took the time. There are so many books unread, games unplayed, self-discoveries that remain undiscovered! Take your time and focus it on learning more about you. Create something tangible. If you disconnect for a bit and focus on doing something entirely new I’m sure you’ll be surprised by all the things you’ll discover about yourself. I know I have.
