The words you and I

Lay between shades of green

refreshing, resonating, ripened

Cool to the senses

Round to the touch

One slice of you is not enough.

One, two, three, four

Have you always watched me grow?

From my cot, I see you there

You grow, I grow, you fall, I fall.
