This recipe came to me in a dream. In said dream, I had a bag of corn tortillas and no salsa. Let me be honest here, that dream was more of a nightmare. I woke up the following morning with the most intense craving for chips and salsa. A craving, you will be glad to know was satisfied.
Ingredients
2 Large tomatoes (diced)
2 tbs of chopped cilantro
Half a medium sized white onion (chopped)
1-2 tsp of soy sauce
1 small can of corn
1/2 tsp lime juice (optional)
1. Chop up the tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. Don’t chop the ingredients too thinly; this salsa is chunky.
2. Add the ingredients to a small bowl, mix and add the soy sauce (and lime juice).
And you’re done! Try this quick, tasty, and ridiculously easy salsa recipe for your next movie night or sports party. Your guests will love you.
I love lime juice in salsa! Great colours too.
Me too! I enjoy the taste of lime in a lot of things. I’ve heard that drinking a glass of warm water with the juice of half a lemon is really good for you. I’m not entirely sure. I’m just happy to put lime or lemon juice on everything!
Have you tried squeezing some fresh lime over papaya or mango? Amazing!
I haven’t! Oh, I will have to do this. I can already imagine the flavor explosion.
